The 2025 Conference and Convention of the American Council of the Blind (ACB) will be July 4-11, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
Approximately 1,000 people from across the United States and from many foreign countries are expected to attend this conference and people from around the world will listen to live broadcasts from the conference on ACB Media or via telephone. Countless others will read the conference program and conference newspaper on the ACB’s Convention website and ACB email lists. Key elements of the convention will also be made virtually accessible for remote attendees through video conferencing and be available after the event through ACB’s YouTube channel and multiple podcast feeds on ACB Media.
Who is attending ACB’s conference and convention? Blind and visually impaired entrepreneurs, students, teachers, rehabilitation professionals, attorneys, musicians, parents, and guide dog users. These individuals are looking for work, want to learn about adaptive technology, are just learning to live with vision loss, attending college or just starting new careers. They are spouses, family members, friends, and professionals who work in the field of vision loss.
They come to learn about the latest in technology, to attend seminars to enhance their lives, with the latest information on accessible medical equipment, transportation issues, audio description, and they come to network with other people who are blind and visually impaired.

All sponsors receive:

The 2025 Conference and Convention program will be in print, braille, via email format, posted to ACB’s website, and distributed to ACB email lists. Sponsorship announcement placement on ACB’s website may vary from the print format; website announcement previews will have links to your full announcement.

- ACB conference Banquet - Two seats at the head banquet table for your representatives; special thanks at the banquet; collectible favors (your logo on all banquet tickets and banquet attendees’ collectible favors if confirmed by May 1, 2025)
- ACB Media Streaming - Special thanks on all ACB Media streaming sessions (all general sessions and ACB evening programming that will be replayed and archived)
- ACB Videography – Your logo will appear in ACB program videos that are produced and presented at ACB’s general sessions
- Official Conference and Convention Program - Subsidize the cost of braille, large print and electronic formats, sponsor recognition throughout the conference and convention (deadline May 1, 2025)
- Conference and Convention Announcements – Numerous announcements are sent out to potential conference and convention attendees via email and played on ACB Media. These messages provide information regarding conference and convention sessions, social activities, studies and focus groups and registration information. Your name will be on all conference and convention information emailed to potential attendees
- Off-Site ACB Educational and Recreational Events - Your name and logo will be on all tour materials and announced in the official program; reduced ticket pricing for all events (if confirmed by May 1, 2025)
- Conference and convention communication center - your name and logo will be on the front page of every newspaper issue, sponsor recognition throughout the conference and convention; your 75-word announcement will be in each issue of the newspaper (6 days in braille, large print, and electronic formats)
- Voting – Underwrite costs connected with giving all members the opportunity to vote during ACB business meetings. Your name will be on information that is emailed to eligible voters

- ACB Café – For grab-and-go food service near meetings; sponsor recognition displayed at the Café and in announcements. Attendees will receive three coupons that can be used during the week at the cafe
